  22. What is NetLoad?
  23. ----------------
  24. NetLoad is a smart file transfer system which maintains remote sites using
  25. conventional FTP. It transfers new or updated files, and also recreates
  26. entire directory structures on the remote site, removes old files and old
  27. directories.

  30. About this evaluation version
  31. -----------------------------
  32. This evaluation version contacts the NetLoad Permission Server in Australia
  33. which gives you 50 FULL transfer sessions of NetLoad. You must be connected to the internet
  34. to contact the permission server.

  36. If the server cannot be contacted, or the 50 use limit has been reached, NetLoad
  37. will only transfer files less than 1024 bytes.

  40. Starting NetLoad for the first time
  41. -----------------------------------
  42. NetLoad has an easy to follow, six step, getting started help screen.

  45. Remote File List Caching
  46. ------------------------
  47. NetLoad cahces the remote directory once downloaded to save you time. Although NetLoad maintains
  48. a perfect list of the remote site, it's wise to press 'refresh' on the remote site to make
  49. sure NetLoad's list holds exactly what's there.

  52. Mirroring
  53. ---------
  54. To setup a mirror (download from remote site to your PC) check the 'mirror' box under
  55. the options tab. Proceed with the 'compare' and 'mirror' as per usual. Remember, files will be
  56. deleted from you local hard disk if the trash can icon is displayed.

  59. Online Registration
  60. -------------------
  61. Registration is encrypted and sent to our server in Australia. It's as
  62. simple as filling out the details and pressing the 'send' button.
